Monotype 


A monotype is one of a kind, original and unique work of art. The  simplest form of printmaking, using only pigments, a surface on which to apply the pigments, paper and some form of press. 

Monotypes are  impressions that are pulled and  painted on a metal or plexiglass plate, created through applications of ink that are rolled, brushed, daubed, layered, removed  and manipulated. The material use is paper  which is able to accept an impression, are "pulled" with the use of a press to create the image.
